Simple Sticky Bun Bread Recipes Using Jello Pudding
There are many different bread recipes that use frozen bread dough and our Sticky Bun Recipe is an easy tasty treat. We love to wake up to ours on Christmas morning, or any morning for that matter! Simply assemble our Simple Sticky Buns using one of our frozen bread recipes the night before, bake in the morning and enjoy!
Jello Pudding has many different uses and this is just one of them! One of my favorite jello pudding flavors is Butterscotch and it makes a yummy Sticky Bun.
And believe me, these tasty treats do not last long in my house!
1/4 Cup Chopped Pecans | Omit if you are allergic to nuts
1 Bag frozen Dough Buns | Use between 12 and 18 frozen dough balls
1/2 Small Package Butterscotch Pudding | Instant
1/2 Cup Butter | Melted
3/4 Cup Brown Sugar
Cinnamon | Sprinkle
Directions For One Of Our Frozen Bread Recipes | Sticky Buns!
Grease a Bundt or Angle Food cake pan.
If you like nuts on your Sticky Buns then sprinkle chopped pecans on the bottom of the pan (I’m allergic so I omit the nuts).
Add frozen dough balls. Approximately 18 if you use the regular size with 36 in a bag. If you use the “Texas” size then only use 12-14 rolls.
Melt the butter…..isn’t this easy? Just wait….only a few more steps.
KL Tip: If you melt it in the microwave be sure to place a napkin over the top so it doesn’t spatter and make mess you then have to take time and clean up
Mix melted butter and brown sugar together. Set aside until after the next step.
Next, sprinkle 1/2 of the small box of dry Butterscotch Jello pudding on top of the frozen dough balls.
Now, pour the butter & brown sugar mixture over the top of the Butterscotch Jello Pudding. Then, Sprinkle with cinnamon. This is what your frozen bread dough with Sticky Bun recipe should look like.
Cover with a towel and let stand overnight to rise. Or, you can make this in the morning and let it rise until it looks ready to bake. Wow, this is looking good. I wonder what yummy treat will rise from our frozen bread recipes collection next.
Uncover and bake at 375 degrees for approximately 25 minutes. Invert onto your favorite platter
